KØS is Becoming CLIMAVORE
16.12.22
KØS Museum of Art in Public Spaces will remove salmon, pork and avocado from its café menu as KØS joins the London based artist duo Cooking Sections’ extensive community project Becoming CLIMAVORE.

New sound experience on the third floor
-> June 2023
A new sight and sound greets you on the museum’s third floor. Normally, Bjørn Nørgaard’s colorful cartons for the Queen’s tapestries hang under the rounded ceiling, but now the sensuous and poetic sound work of the American visual artist Victoria Keddie fills the dimly lit room.

KØS engages two forward-thinking, internationally oriented curators to realise new strategic initiatives
2023-2025
KØS has appointed Charlotte Sprogøe and Irene Campolmi as senior curators to contribute to the realisation of the museum’s ambitious strategic initiatives for 2024-2025, including a permanent art historical main exhibition in the museum building, in interchange with significant international art projects in public spaces in Denmark.

We are preparing new exhibitions and the museum is therefore closed from the 13th to the 19th of June
13.06 - 19.06
We are drilling, hammering and rummaging to get the exhibition rooms ready for you to experience new captivating works of art and revisit old acquaintances. In the meantime, you can have a tasty lunch or a cooling iced coffee on the forecourt of KØS Café, where the art project Becoming CLIMAVORE is alive and well.
